Easy Smoked Beer Can Chicken Recipe

Why make smoked beer  can chicken?

Easy to make on all types of smokers.

Ingredients:   ● a whole roasting chicken ● dry rub of your choice ● beer (you can also use gluten-free beer, hard cider, or fruit juice) ● marinade or salad dressing

GRILLING tips:

Make sure you have the right equipment to get the job done - smoker supplies, tongs, gloves, etc.

Use an instant-read meat thermometer so you  properly cook the chicken.

Season the chicken inside & out with the rub.

Prepare the marinade.

Empty half of  the beer into the  smoker drip pan.

Pour marinade onto the top of the beer can.

Place chicken onto the beer can chicken stand.

Set up your smoker for indirect heat. Use wood chips, chunks or logs.

Maintain a smoker temperature of between 225 and 275 degrees F.

Chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
