For many of us moms, the school year is winding down. Spring break is over and there’s just a few weeks left of school. That means we have summer break to look forward to and a lot of running around with our kids. Even if we work outside the home that means we’ll be spending time driving our children to summer camps and taking our families on well earned vacations.
There certainly won’t be a lot of “me time” with our friends. So why not plan a Girls Night In Party with your best gal pals before the end of the school year? Have dad take the kids over to grandma’s house or out to their favorite pizza place and a night of thrills at the movies or the bowling alley?
For some snacking inspiration, check out my Healthy Snacks & Drinks for a Girls Night In! slideshow from Foodie.com above. It features all kinds of wonderful “mocktails” from Trop50, who sponsored this post. I’ve picked yummy but healthy recipes that are easy to make and perfect for noshing on while chatting or watching a movie. Enjoy!
